2018 PTO Fall FUNdraiser

If you have a business or would simply like to help Central Union Church Preschool & Kindergarten, then please consider being a Corporate or Individual Sponsor for the 2018 PTO Fall Fitness FUNdraiser. This event raises the funds needed to make all the Parent/Teacher Organization (“PTO”) events a reality for our keiki: Parent and Family Socials, Pumpkin Patch and Trunk-or-Treat, Snow Day, Chinese New Year, Spring Event and our End of Year celebration. The money raised also helps fund our school yearbook, classrooms and playground supplies, and brings educational programs to our school, such as the Honolulu Theatre for Youth. In order to raise these necessary funds, our keiki will participate in a day of physical fitness led by volunteers. 100% of your sponsorship donation is tax deductible. Help us reach our $40,000 goal and be a great supporter of CUPS and the annual PTO events!

Central Union Church Preschool (CUPS) began on the morning of October 16, 1928, when fourteen children walked in through the garden gates. At the end of the school’s first year of operation, the announcement appeared in the Church’s Sunday bulletin on June 16, 1929: “The Central Union week-day Kindergarten has closed a very successful term…” Even at the earliest start, it was evident that the Church’s current mission statement of “We Engage and Embrace all as we seek to Embody Christ” permeated throughout the ”cooperative playschool.” Today, CUPS remains a thriving, vibrant preschool program within the community that strives to serve children and families from various backgrounds. The early learning years that keiki and families experience at CUPS sets a solid foundation for the future, builds special bonds, and creates enduring memories.
