WHAT TIME IS DAZZLE?
- Dazzletini, the VIP pre-party for table sponsors and guests: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Doors open for individual ticket-holders: 5:00 PM
- Main Program: 5:30 PM
- Live Auction: 7:30 PM.
HOW DO I ATTEND?
- Attrndees need to purchase individual ticket(s) or a table sponsorship
- Walk-in attendees cannot be accommodated
- Sales close on April 7, COB
- Tickets and tables can be purchased on the "Purchase Tickets & Tables" tab
WILL I RECEIVE A TICKET?
- Physical tickets will not be issued
- By purchasing tickets or sponsoring a table of ten, your name is automatically added to the our attendees list.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE ALOHILANI RESORT?
- Parking is valet-only
- Please turn on Lili'uokalani Avenue for valet parking
- All table sponsors and guests receive complimnetary valet parking
- For individualticket holders, parking is $20. Payment can be made at the hotel's parking station in the Alohilani Ballroom Foyer
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
- Formal attire
- Cocktail dresses for women and a suit and tie for men are also acceptable
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A TICKET?
- Food: Tasting selections from the island's top renowned and up -and-coming chefs will be featured throghout the Alohlani Ballroom and Foyer. Additional, separate chef stations will also be featured at Dazzletini
You may visit each food station multiple times. Vegetarian dishes and desserts will also be available
- Beverages: All guests have unlimited access to the wine station and beer station throughout the evening. For table sponsors, each table will receive a reserved selection of wine for guests. Dazzletini guests will have champagne and the Dazzletini cocktail(s)
WHAT ARE OTHER WAYS I CAN PARTICIPATE IN DAZZLE?
- Donate to the Auctions: We are looking for items of value, goods unique to a business, gift certificates, and experiential packages - packages with multiple components, such as a weekend hotel stay with a spa treatment and meal at their in-house restaurant. There are two auctions you can donate to - the online silent auction, which starts on April 1 and closes on April 13 and is hosted on the Greater Giving website and the live auction, which takes place during Dazzle. You can make a donation by filling out the online form under the “Donate an Auction Item” tab or by contacting Alana at alana@centralunionpreschool.org
- Fund-an-Educator Sponsorship: Help to offset the costs of our CUPS Faculty attending Dazzle. The sponsorship allows our teachers and staff to participate in the evening's activities. You may specify teachers you would like to sponsor
- Gift a Table: You can also choose one of the table sponsorship packages and gift the ten seats to family, friends, or even CUPS faculty and staff. To learn more about the sponsorship opportunities, please go to the “Purchase Tickets & Tables” tab.
- Make a Monetary Donation: 100% of all monetary donations are tax-deductible. Please go to the “Purchase Tickets & Tables” tab and scroll to the bottom of the page
All funds raised goes towards supporting the Preschool’s 5 E’s:
• Endowment;
• Events;
• Educational Opportunities;
• Environment; and most importantly,
• Economic Diversity, the tuition assistance program that helps pave the way for our unique and diverse group of studentS
HOW DOES THE ONLNE SILENT AUCTION WORK?
- Opens on Monday, April 1 at 12:00 AM and closes on Tuesday, April 13 at 5:00 PM
- Instructions on registering for the auction and bidding will be emailed to all CUPS ‘ohana and friends and posted online prior to its opening
- You can view each auction item/package and bid as often and for as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support CUPS, we appreciate auction donations
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I WIN AN AUCTION ITEM?
- Silent Auction Winners: You will be notified by email and text if you are the highest bidder on an item/package immediatelY after the auction closes on Tuesday, April 13 at 5:00 PM. Once payment is received, items and/or packages may be picked up at the CUPS Admin Office located at 1660 South Beretania Street in Honolulu. If you are unable to physically pick up your winning item(s), alternative options are available. Shipment can be arranged for any winning bidders; however, the winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items (not gift certificates).
- Live Auction Winners: You will be notified immediately as the highest bidders are announced following each item/package. Spotters will ensure that we have your information for payment to be processed the following Monday after Dazzle. You can ensure a quick transaction by entering your mobile number and email address when purchasing your ticket/table and opting to save your credit card on file. Items and/or packages may be picked up at the CUPS Admin Office located at 1660 South Beretania Street in Honolulu. If you are unable to physically pick up your winning item(s), alternative options are available. Shipment can be arranged for any winning bidders; however, the winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items (not gift certificates)
iS THERE A SPECIAL ROOM RATE AT THE ALOHILANI RESORT?
- There is a special room block available to Dazzle attendees three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after Dazzle. Rates TBD
